What types of accommodation can I book at the property?

The Le Villarel establishment consists of the following cottages:

• The Castle (18 people)

• The Sheepfold (8 people)

• The Mazet (4 people)

• The Barn (6 people) - Opening planned for 2027

• The Workshop (10 people) - Opening planned for 2029

For the rental of several cottages, we invite you to contact us directly.

It is also possible to rent a 130 m² reception room with its 5-bed dormitory in addition to the cottages.

How can I book my stay?

Reservations can be made directly on our website www.levillarel.fr , by email at levillarel@gmail.com , by phone at 06 20 96 80 96 , or on the main booking platforms (Booking, AirBNB, etc.).

Can I pay with holiday vouchers?

We do not accept holiday vouchers at this time.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrivals : between 2pm and 6pm

Departure : until 11am.

You can add the late check-out/late departure option. During your booking, you can extend your stay until 5pm for an additional fee (offered as part of a private booking).

What are the reception hours?

Our team is available every day from 9am to 6pm .

Conditions for modifying or cancelling your stay

• Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival : Full refund, except for the deposit (20%).

• Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before arrival : 50% refund of the total booking amount.

• Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival : No refund or postponement possible. The full amount of the reservation is due.

What services and benefits are included in the price?

The price includes:

• Access to the cottage and to private or shared outdoor spaces

• A parking space nearby

• Bed linen and towels

Is Villarel suitable for children?

Yes, children are welcome. We provide a baby kit (travel cot, high chair) upon request. Games are also available in the cottages. Children remain the responsibility of their parents.

Is Villarel suitable for people with reduced mobility?

The ground-floor bedroom at Le Château gîte is equipped for guests with reduced mobility. If you have a temporary or permanent disability, please contact us so we can adapt your stay.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed in the establishment for an additional fee of €20 per stay, with a limit of two pets per stay.

How do I get to the establishment?

• By bike : 2.5 hours from Montpellier

• By train : The nearest train stations are Montpellier and Nîmes. From there, you can take a bus or a rental car.

• By bus : Lines 608 (Montpellier-Ganges) and 690 (Ganges, stop LA CROIX, then 40 min walk).

• By car :

  • Montpellier: 40 km

  • Perpignan: 180 km

  • Marseille: 200 km

  • Toulouse: 260 km

• By plane : Nîmes or Montpellier airports, approximately 1 hour from the establishment.

Is it easy to park?

Yes, free parking is reserved for our guests.

What are the nearby cities?

Villarel is located:

• 15 minutes south of Ganges

• 35 minutes north of Montpellier

• 2 hours 20 minutes west of Marseille

• 3 hours east of Toulouse

What attractions and activities are nearby?

On site:

• Swimming in the Hérault river, 200m from the hamlet, with a supervised area in summer

• Saint Etienne Chapel in Issensac and its bridge 500 m away

• Numerous hikes in the Mastargues woods and around the bridge

• Natural sinkhole at approximately 700 m

A little further on:

• Swimming at the Saint Laurent du Minier waterfalls, in Saint Jean de Buèges, or in the Mediterranean Sea (approximately 1 hour)

• Hiking trails : GR de Pays "Tours dans le Grand Pic St-Loup", GR60, Ravin des Arcs, Pic St Loup, Pic d'Anjeau, Le Thaurac
